This course provides an understanding of the issues related to disinfection that are highly relevant for individuals who manage or operate wastewater treatment systems that include disinfection processes.

Drinking water treatment Operators will also find this course highly informative. Participants will obtain an overall understanding of the requirements for disinfection and be provided with an overview of common methods of disinfection including their applications.
Attendees will also learn about UV disinfection design standards, system operation, monitoring and maintenance requirements, and common UV operational challenges.
