This comprehensive course provides Operators with a clear understanding of the BNR process. BNR is a tertiary wastewater treatment process that involves the removal of organic matter, nitrogen (including ammonia, nitrates and nitrites) and phosphorous, as well as the reduction of total suspended solids.
The focus for instruction is on the configuration and operation of the BNR process from beginning to end.
This course is being hosted by the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, in the Boardroom at their Wastewater Treatment Plant.
