This comprehensive course is to provides Operators with a clear understanding of the BNR process. BNR is a tertiary wastewater treatment process that involves the removal of organic matter, nitrogen (including ammonia, nitrates and nitrites) and phosphorous, as well as the reduction of total suspended solids from wastewater. 

The focus for instruction is on the configuration and operation of the BNR process from beginning to end.
